TWO-SCALE MEASURES
Many of our surveys use two scales to measure each surveyed item. One scale measures the 'importance' of an item in organizational or individual effectiveness; the other measures 'performance' on the same item. This allows us to uncover STRENGTHS (important items where performance is high) and AREAS IN NEED OF IMPROVEMENT (important items where performance is low). It also helps us to identify high performance items that have no impact on success! And low performance items that do not matter. This level of diagnosis permits organizations to focus energy on the critical few factors that have positive impact and to ignore all others.
